She then went on to help launch Huskee, leading a record-breaking Kickstarter and building a team that took the brand into more than 20 countries. When COVID arrived, Nicole pivoted again—creating a fitness brand partnered with Sydney hotels and scaling it to $1m a year as a solo founder. Now through Marrow, she channels those lessons to daily help other founders scale smarter, faster, and with lasting profitability.
Trevor Barnes, Strategic Advisor.
Trevor brings decades of leadership experience as a Director and CEO, having run companies across Europe, Africa, and Australasia. He led publicly listed packaging businesses with multi-site operations and turnovers exceeding $800m, building a reputation for driving innovation and high-performance cultures. In 2007, Trevor and a partner acquired Austcor Packaging, then a loss-making business with $7m in turnover. Over the next 14 years, he steered its transformation into a $350m enterprise generating 15% EBITDA. After retiring in 2021, Trevor joined Marrow as Partner and Advisor, where he now lends his wealth of experience to guide strategy and help clients scale with confidence.
Justin, Head Buyer.
Justin has personally managed more than $60M in annual ad spend on behalf of clients. With experience running some of the largest eCommerce accounts in the U.S., he believes paid media is the most efficient and effective way to drive traffic, generate sales, and scale brands profitably. Justin has delivered above-average performance for DTC brands across multiple verticals. A recent highlight was scaling fitness brand Hyperice during Black Friday, managing nearly $1M in ad spend for November alone—while maintaining a 7x ROAS and adding $600k in profitable sales. Beyond paid media, Justin brings a wide skill set spanning SEO, SEM, organic and paid social, lead generation, affiliate marketing, CRO, content strategy, and growth partnerships—making him a versatile strategist for driving digital growth.
Tess, Content Operations.
An entrepreneur at heart, Tess Connelly thrives on building sustainable, creative solutions that help businesses manage and scale their content more effectively. With a deep understanding of the demands of digital marketing, Tess also supports teams in managing high-volume content for Facebook and other paid media channels. She ensures that the right systems are in place so creative briefs, ad variations, and campaign assets move smoothly from idea to execution—saving teams time while maximizing impact.
Josh, Snr Creative Strategist.
Josh LeGuern is a Creative Leader and Graphic Designer based in Orange County, California. He has served as Senior Creative Director for brands such as 47 Brand, Duke Cannon, Solo Brands, NuFACE, and Buffy—developing paid social media creative strategies across Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Google Performance Max, and Pinterest. Josh has helped create ads that have driven tens of millions of dollars in annual revenue, consistently producing profitable results by lifting click-through rates, thumb-stop rates, thru-play rates, and ROAS. His strength lies in turning creative briefs into high-performing campaigns, collaborating with design teams to deliver impactful creative on time. Working closely with paid media strategists, Josh blends data-driven insights with creative execution—advising clients on scaling, iteration, landing page optimization, and product strategy to maximize conversions.

With seven years of copywriting experience, she brings a rare blend of creativity and strategy—spanning digital storytelling, brand identity, UX writing, CRM email marketing, SEO, social media, and beyond.
